What is the difference between Muundo Indoor & Muundo Outdoor:

The Indoor tables are covered with a varnish lacquer rather than oil finish.

The Outdoor tables are covered with an oil rather than varnish finish.

Keeping in mind above techniques being applied the Muundo Outdoor tables have a more rough surface. Both application techniques serve as a protective layer that helps prevent staining, even though the tables are inherently waterproof.

The most suitable maintenance and care include the following steps for Muundo Indoor designs:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the tables using a mild solution of warm water and soft soap. Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of soft soap in 1 liter of warm water.

  • Gentle Scrubbing: Use a sponge or cloth to gently scrub the tables while cleaning, avoiding abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

For Muundo Outdoor designs we recommend additional steps as below instructed:

  • Annual Oil Application: Once a year, apply an oil finish specifically designed for Muundo outdoor furniture to protect the tables from staining. The oil can be directly purchased from Muundo.

  • Gentle Scrubbing: Use a sponge or cloth to gently scrub the tables while cleaning, avoiding abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

  • Protective Covers: When not in use, consider using protective covers designed for outdoor furniture to shield the tables from direct sunlight, rain, dust, and other outdoor elements.

By following these maintenance instructions, you can ensure the longevity and appearance of your Muundo tables.

Care and Maintenance of Your Natural Table:

This table is made from natural materials that lend it its unique and beautiful characteristics. However, it is essential to note the following care guidelines to ensure its longevity. Each table you purchase from us is handcrafted, showcasing the dedication and artistry that goes into its creation. Owing to the manual process of its application, the table may exhibit small imperfections, such as imprints left during application or varying shades on its surface. These nuances are a testament to its handmade nature and add to its unique charm.

Staining Risk:

Like all natural products such as marble and wood, this table is susceptible to staining. While it can withstand spills from coffee, grease, and similar substances, immediate cleaning is required to prevent permanent marks.

Cleaning Instructions:

To clean the table, gently wipe the affected area with a soft cloth and water. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as they may damage the surface.

Coasters and Decor:

We recommend the use of coasters for drinks to minimize the risk of staining. Additionally, avoid leaving flower pots or any items that could trap moisture for extended periods.

Regular Maintenance:

To maintain the table's appearance and protective finish, we recommend applying a new layer of oil every six months. The required oil can be ordered directly from our distributor.

Warranty Void:

Failure to follow these guidelines will void the warranty on the table.
